WHY HIRE ACADEMY GRADUATES?
- Academy graduates have completed a four- to six-week intensive program that includes both classroom and on-the-road training utilizing a California Bureau of Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education approved curriculum.
- Students are trained on a state-of-the-art TranSim VS III Simulator, as well as on the road.
- Students receive extensive training outside of the standard course curriculum, such as customer service, safe driving practices and transporting hazardous material.

OUR GRADUATES
Graduates of the Bayview Hope Truck Driving Academy are rigorously trained in safety procedures, all Department of Transportation regulations, the safe transportation of hazardous materials and all skills required to safely and efficiently operate a tractor trailer. Our graduates also receive training in customer service to ensure they reinforce the positive image of the many businesses who hire them. The Bayview Hope Truck Driving Academy graduates are prepared to set new standards of safety, efficiency and customer service.
PROGRAM DETAILS
The course is designed to prepare students to gain a Class A Commercial Drivers License and meet both the hard and soft skill expectations of potential employers. Successful participants have completed the course of study, attained a Class A Commercial Drivers License and have gained entry level employment at an average salary of $15 per hour with benefits.
