Customized towards the employment needs of young women in the San Francisco County Jail, Goodwill Industries provides in-custody basic job readiness and life skills training.  The goal of the program is to provide specialized workshops and one-on-one counseling support for young women with a host of special needs and severe employment barriers to become less dependent upon the street economy and become self-sufficient.

By providing in-custody support, Goodwill is assisting young women to become self-sufficient as they re-enter society and the workforce.  At Goodwill, the young women may be eligible for Goodwill's unique intake and assessment process, transitional employment program, and career advancement services.

The Women's Reentry Program is funded by the San Francisco Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice in partnership with the Family Service Agency of San Francisco.
